We can accommodate up to 100 guests for your special event.  Most are held in our lovely Fairchild Room which can be expanded to include our spacious outdoor patio.  Many are held in Proud Mary's which adds a touch of fun and romance.

FAIRCHILD ROOM


This is the primary meeting room and banquet space at the Inn. It is a large, lovely room with a huge fireplace. It is surrounded by windows and filled with exquisite art. Double French doors connect the room to a large outdoor deck. The Fairchild can seat up to 75 people for dining and extend to the outdoor deck for parties for more than 100.

PROUD MARY'S


Proud Mary's is the original site of one of the oldest roadhouses in New England. It is a wonderful party space with antique glass and original French art posters on the walls. It is warm and intimate and romantic. It's perfect for a birthday or anniversary party.

THE INN AT NEWTOWN

The Tavern — This is the center of activity at The Inn if not the city of Newtown. It bustles with lunch and dinner every day and the bar is filled early and late. If you are looking for a great place to gather for a cocktail with friends or to have a casual, reasonably priced lunch or dinner this is your spot. It's a warm and comfortable space with great soups and salads and sandwiches and light entrees for everyday dining. The Dining Room — Zagat Survey says, "this Newtown New American charms critics with corn chowder, melt-in-your-mouth filet mignon and a staff that seems to love its job." The setting is fabulous. A lovely room with soft lighting, multiple level floors and ceilings and stunning artwork on the walls, this is your place for a quiet romantic dinner or a wonderful special occasion with great food and wine. The cuisine is New American style with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients and it has drawn praise from critics and commentators throughout the region. The wine list is, quite simple, one of the best in Connecticut and is known for its reasonable prices.
