One of our customers recently called this the "coolest place to take your honey in 25 miles." Proud Mary's is open Friday and Saturday nights and features a light dining menu, great drinks and wines and cool entertainment in a warm, romantic setting. It's a great place to meet friends for a drink before dinner or to have a light supper or to finish a special evening with your favorite person. It was originally conceived as a gathering place for young married couples out for an evening without the kids. It is also a great place for smallish private parties with exceptional food and wine and cocktails.

Tired On Sunday

Are you a fan of classic rock? Music of the 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s and today? Well then Tired on Sunday is the perfect band for you! Originally beginning about five years ago with founding members Paul Hatrick and Mark Holleran under the name 150 RPM, Tired on Sundays became the band's new title after adding long time friend and member of The Highland Rovers, Tommy Portera. If Billy Preston were the 5th Beatle, then Molly Bryce would be Tired On Sundays'. She sits in on bass and adds her voice to the bands already tight vocal work. You can even see her as the third member when one of the guys can't make the gig. The band has never been so great.

Now the three guitarists play great hits like "Suite Judy Blue Eyes" by Crosby, Stills and Nash and "I've Just Seen a Face" by The Beatles. Along with the occasional piano and bass, Paul, Mark and Tommy have made the music of the past come alive again with their crowd pleasing performances at Proud Mary's in Newtown, CT. The band plays there at least once a month.

So if you love bands like Men at Work, The Troggs, The Grateful Dead and Yes then it would seem like you are a fan of Tired on Sunday!! Come down and hear them play! Dance, drink and be merry!! Tired on Sunday baby! Link to YouTube video
