One of our customers recently called this the "coolest place to take your honey in 25 miles." Proud Mary's is open Friday and Saturday nights and features a light dining menu, great drinks and wines and cool entertainment in a warm, romantic setting. It's a great place to meet friends for a drink before dinner or to have a light supper or to finish a special evening with your favorite person. It was originally conceived as a gathering place for young married couples out for an evening without the kids. It is also a great place for smallish private parties with exceptional food and wine and cocktails.

OLD SCHOOL

Old School is a "Good Time Rock n' Roll" duo with a diversified repertoire of songs from the 50's through the 80's aimed to entertain the "baby boom" generation. Although there are only two of them, they're accompanied by custom recorded tracks consisting of drums, bass and any other instruments that would otherwise be missing. Which, of course, results in a big sound suitable for dancing.

Lou Bellofatto
Lou, (piano and vocals) is a musician from Danbury who has spent most of his career composing and arranging music for advertising. He was an original member of the Westchester bands, Steeplechase and Bookends. In recent years he has worked with Julie Taymor as a second music director on her latest film "Across the Universe", has performed with Carly Simon promoting her most recent CD "Into White" and was a pit musician in the Broadway musical "Hot Feet".

Tony Summo
Tony (guitar and vocals), a resident of Newtown, was also a member of the Westchester based rock band Steeplechase and currently plays with the "new" Bookends band. He brings the energy to the duo with his soulful guitar playing and bluesy voice. His heart was and still is with rock n' roll. From Elvis to the Beatles and maybe even a little Hendrix, if the moment is right, he's sure to keep the place jumpin'.
